After going through a near death experience, Freddy Trillo started jiu jitsu to learn non-violent techniques in his role as a police officer. Now as a BJJ Black Belt and SWAT Veteran, Freddy has used what he's learned throughout his life, and he's paying it forward. As the owner and instructor of Trillo Jiu Jitsu Academy, Freddy instructs students of all ages, and he holds seminars where he teaches non-violent techniques so his fellow police officers can maximize their control without abusing their power.
