Yasmin Coaches woman indoor football to grassroot level and started with 5 Muslim players and now have over 20 players within 1 year.

We discuss about cultural barriers and the lack of opportunities growing up as a female teenager and why it took 20 years later to decide to go back and play Football, but also to take the step on training to become a coach, partly due to the change within societies opinions. We talk Football and inclusion of young girls and women in male dominated sports and still the lack of awareness and stigma perceptions that surround sports like football. How our minds can become our own barriers and stop us from perusing in physical activity or in the participation in sports specific clubs and the need for an increase in female coaches across the United Kingdom.
