EPISODE 83 | In the spirit of the seasons changing, let's try to focus on self care in a nurturing way. In order to do things like heal or sleep, we need our nervous systems to feel safe. Then we can relax, and switch our bodies into calm and repair. Studies show that stress in your body can feel the same whether you're in an accident or overwhelmed by emotional difficulties.

This sleep meditation/body scan begins at minute 7:05, and is used in the military, works on my seven year old, and made a skeptic in my husband a believer.

Prior to the sleep meditation, yes including music, enjoy some updates, interesting info, and one extra body relaxation tip you can use anytime.

Be gentle with yourself, especially as the seasons change.
