This initiative is designed to showcase the power of culture in fostering international exchanges between partners. It serves as a platform to highlight the province’s rich cultural heritage, deepen international cooperation, and advance the G20’s vision of inclusivity and collaboration.
More than 20 heads of commissions are in the city, including China, Mali, Lesotho, Nigeria, and Bangladesh, to take part in the tours around the city and to foster international relationships with the premier and her executive council.
The roadshow positions the Free State as a global cultural destination while advancing the G20 Presidency’s theme of “Solidarity, Equality & Sustainability” and the sub-theme “Advancing Cultural Diplomacy to Build Sustainable Communities”.
