The Free State’s Health MEC, Monyatso Viceroy Mohlatsi is concerned about a high number of medical negligence claims against the provincial health department, often stemming from inadequate patient care and poor record keeping. To address this problem, the department has convened a two-day Medico-Legal Workshop that will come up with effective resolution strategies across critical stakeholders.
