In this episode we get a little heavy with a pinch of existential dread when talking about a discovery that allegedly claims there is no such thing as free will after we watched an episode of StarTalk with with Robert Sapolsky & Neil deGrasse Tyson.
"Is there a quantum reason we could have free will? Neil deGrasse Tyson and comedian Chuck Nice explore the concept of free will and predetermination with neuroscientist, biologist, and author of Determined: The Science of Life Without Free Will, Robert Sapolsky."
And Bean wraps up the episode with the horrific true crime story of a mother accused of throwing her disabled son to his death in a crocodile-infested canal in India.
"We found the child's body from the canal on Sunday morning," Karnataka Police sub-inspector Krishna Arakeri, who is investigating the case, told CBS News. "There were several injury marks on the child's body and one hand was missing, which seems to have been eaten by a crocodile."
