We have the pleasure of welcoming back to the show our first guest, our first returning guest, and author of the book we recently finished “What About Evil? A Defense of God’s Sovereign Glory” – Pastor Scott Christensen. This was such a great discussion we wanted to break it up into two different parts. In the first part of the interview, we discuss what a theodicy is and what some of the free will theodicy failures are from one of the more cited explanations for why evil exists.

Scott Christensen kindly sets up the stage for what the question is that his book covers and we jump right into the discussion. This will lead us right into the discussion for next week where we pick back up to talk about if not the free will theodicy with all its issues – what’s the theodicy that best puts God – and man, in their proper place?
