How astonishing is the new situation that has come to us through our great High Priest of love. The inadequate earthly tabernacle-temple system of worship could not provide unfettered access into God-s holy presence. When only the high priest, and only once a year, could enter the inner sanctuary the Holy Spirit was making it abundantly clear that the way into the Most Holy Place was not yet opened. Access was denied- Who would dare to try and enter into God-s holy presence- We needed a high priest who could wholly cleanse our conscience - not merely to get the monkey of guilt off our back, but to give us bold access into God-s presence. Christ alone has entered the Most Holy Place - heaven itself, and that, once for all by His own blood- We have been eternally redeemed and freed for true worship where our guilt is no more and we are made bold to serve and love the living God- The veil has been torn - why hang back in fear when all has been made clear-
