Fear is one of humanity's greatest enemies, whether it be fear of loneliness, illness, the unknown, or death. The Israelites faced a fearful future, captivity in Babylon due to their nation's sin. Yet, through Isaiah, the Lord tells them not to fear. He will send a kinsman Redeemer. They, like us, can be freed from fear.
