In the sixth chapter of Romans, Paul uses the illustration of slavery to show how we can be free from sin. Are you a slave of sin or a slave of righteousness? Do you want to be anybody's slave? Is there a resistance in your heart to the whole idea of being a slave of God? Why? Is that not an indication of a deeper problem going all the way back to Adam in the garden.
