One of the many ways the devil uses to keep men in bondage is ignorance. Truly, many people perish today because of a lack of knowledge of God for themselves. 

The devil even will do anything to block a man from hearing the gospel, because he knows when such a heart hears the gospel, he will be exposed to the truth and thereby experience his freedom
