The cultural narrative of the modern western world is that man is free to

do whatever he pleases. A popular Disney movies has a song with these

words, “no right, no wrong, no rules for me, I’m free.” When in fact the

worst bondage someone can be in is the bondage to sin. Jesus came to set us

free from sin, not free to sin. As we get liberated from sin, we learn that

we must become servants to Jesus, or become yoked to Him. This is true

freedom. He also came to set us free from the law, so we can become married

to Him, where He will live His life in and through us.
