Two years ago, Rory and I made the decision to sell (almost) everything we owned and to leave Australia, bound for our great overseas and entrepreneurial journey.
It was one of the most exciting times of our lives, filled with possibility and adventure.
And yet, there was QUITE a process of decluttering required before we were able to hand that boarding pass to our flight attendant.
It's easy to see from the outside the physical decluttering that was involved.
We sold furniture for almost six months and STILL ended up with a mountain of rubbish on our curb as we left our cute, little Melbourne cottage.
But that was only the surface decluttering.
There was a whole WORLD of emotional and relationship decluttering that was going on that HAD to happen if we were ever going to make it to that check-in counter.
Heather knows that when it comes to clutter, it's often this emotional clutter, or the emotion we're attaching to our physical clutter, that has the biggest impact on our happiness and sense of freedom.
From working through these challenges with her clients, her children and herself, she's come to innately understand that decluttering starts within.
And that "stuff" could be holding you back in more ways than you realise.
