The most often-repeated command in scripture is 'Do not fear!', but people in the Bible are also regularly commanded to fear God. How do we make sense of this apparent contradiction? What does it mean, to 'fear God', and might learning to fear God be an important part of discovering freedom from other kinds of fear?
