There are plenty of veteran programs out there for veterans to participate in, and Deep Sea Valkyries (DSV) is one such organization led by Josh, an Army Veteran and President of DSV. DSV has a three-fold pillar of Mind, Body, and Soul, as a faith-based, holistic approach to help the veteran explore healing opportunities via scuba diving retreats. Applications for Combat Veterans and First Responders are open through December 31, 2024, for the 2025 cohort. You may find the waters calming through DSV and scuba diving. You do not need to have scuba experience to apply.
