Freedom Has A Price

Listen Later

This is Carter Conlon, reading to you today from John chapter 8 and verse 32. Jesus said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Realistically, looking at the gospels we recognize today that freedom has a price to it. For you and I to be able to be set free, to know God, to be returned to God, and restored to the fullness of God, somebody had to pay the penalty of our sin. Somebody had to go into battle for us when we could not fight for ourselves. And of course that somebody was Jesus Christ, the son of God.

I’m so thankful today for the freedoms that we enjoy in this wonderful nation called America. I’m thankful for those who went in and fought for us when we were unable to fight for ourselves. We honor you, we respect you, and we thank God for each one of you. May this be a beautiful and blessed day in your lives.

Remember, it’s time to pray!
