Jesus’ ministry of good news was not simply to tell people of the good news of salvation. But it encompassed justice and freedom for all the oppressed. As Christ's followers we all called to do the same. When governments and those whom God has placed authority fail to protect those who are weak, God looks to his people to be the voice of justice and his hands of rescue.
