Freedom The Musical, a groundbreaking production that examines crime and violence in modern day society, will soon be on at the State Theatre. The musical will run from April 30 to June 2. The musical is directed by multi-award winning playwright Aubrey Sekhabi and features 47 cast members and a 13-piece band tells the story of Phindile, telling a story testament to her determination to triumph regardless of the odds stacked against her by the system and society.
