Hey Sis! How are you? I am so excited for you to meet our guest, Alexis McKinney. Alexis is proudly from Milwaukee, WI and resides in Portland, OR. She is a proud dog and plant mom and a creative. Co-founding the Black Girls brunch club, Alexis is a community organizer who enjoys creating safe spaces exclusively for Black women. In her spare time, she enjoys music festivals, painting, skating, and rediscovering interests from her childhood. She is also working towards being a Domestic Violence advocate.

About Black Girls Brunch Club: Founded in 2022, Black Girls Brunch Club was created to provide a safe place for Black women, non-binary and gender-neutral folks to gather. Whether people are new to or from Portland, this space is just for us! Many of us are searching for sisterhood and friendship in this city and brunches are a staple for us as a community. BGBC has hosted over 750 Black women in Portland, OR in the past year.
