In Romans 6, Paul reminds us that grace isn’t a license to keep living as we once did, it’s the power that frees us to live a brand-new life in Christ. Through the imagery of baptism and the reality of being united with Jesus, we see that the old self has been crucified, and a new identity has been given. Freedom isn’t found in doing whatever we want, but in being led by the One who gives life.
