Mind Melt

Freeing Yourself From Judgement

Listen Later

As 2021 comes to an end this is a time for us all to reflect on the year behind us and plan for the year ahead of us. If you are someone who wants to get better in your life, each year usually ends with a period of self reflection. Self reflection can be one of the most helpful processes for our growth if it is done in the right way. What I encourage all of us to stay away from is making judgements about ourselves and others for the lives we are leading. Instead we should make observations about our habits, mindsets, and life as a whole and work towards making small changes that can be sustained over time. The truth is there is no better way to fill our heads with negative thoughts, and lowering our self esteem than judging ourselves. Maybe we acted in a way we did not like but this doesn't mean we need to come from a place of judgement.

Instead come from a place of love and self compassion where we address the root causes behind why act the ways we do, and work on healing yourself and letting go of the things we are holding onto. Overall lets make 2022 the best year yet by reflecting on 2021, creating a plan and vision for our life, and setting ourselves up for success by developing healthy and beneficial habits. I love all of you and I look forward to bringing you the best content possible in 2022.
