It’s so easy to just push and push, to a stupid degree, and as a result you stretch yourself too thin and burn yourself out.
I struggle with letting go of my expectations and listen to how I feel, those times when it’s just not my day.
Instead, I push myself to the breaking point at the wrong time.
Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and a place for pushing yourself — it usually is benefitial — yet then there’s just these certain times when you absolutely do not feel like it, when the time and place is just wrong, and you know it….
At these moments it’s hard, for me, to step back and accept that I’m not just there today, whether it be because of poor preparation, lack of sleep or minor recovery.
Whatever the case, some moments — rare as they may be — it’s just better to take a step back, create distance and reflect on the strategic picture, don’t you think?
Enjoy!🤙🏼
Here to discuss all things mindset and improving yourself — especially when it comes to a sport like scootering. I will explore lessons, ideas, methods and even training for improving performance, and interview guests as well.🤙🏼
