Dr Magbor Akanni works as a Haematology Consultant at Milton Keynes University Hospital. She has an interest in looking after people with Sickle Cell and Thalassemia and ensuring that these people not only have access to the care they need but are also able to live fulfilled lives with their conditions.

She contributes to the education of students in training at the University of Buckingham Medical School during their clinical years. She is involved in setting out the aspects of haematological cancers needed for their training.
