I headed to the northwest side of Chicago to interview my good friend, Rees Urban.

Rees has been involved with Chicago’s house music scene for over 2 decades. He started out as a DJ in the mid 90s playing at clubs and raves across the midwest and has since played all over the world and produced well over 100 releases. This episode of FMP includes an exclusive DJ mix from Rees and the interview I recorded with him a few months back. We dug into his backstory, his musical roots and his current output with Brian Boncher as Rubb Sound System.

The interview with Rees was recorded in early 2018.
