An Insightful Book Quietly Nudging You to Move Your Life Forward

As a loyal listener to her podcast, I couldn't wait to get a copy of Jokotade's book and when it arrived, it did not disappoint. Jokotade's book struck the delicate balance between providing an inspiration and practicality. This is especially true for the paperback edition. There was just something about being able to pause in between chapters and truly reflect that just made her Fresh Start concepts resonate in a more profound way. There was one chapter in particular that inspired even more study on how to perfect that area of my life.

I don't want to spoil the book by giving away the principles, but some of the major pros for me were:

-The hopeful tone,

-The powerful stories and experiences from both Jokotade and others she came in contact with,

-The unique way historical, inspirational wisdom was applied to current 21st century problems,

-The author's fresh voice (not gimmicky), and

-The beautiful cover (because I like pretty things).

I read the book twice--first Kindle and then paperback--and I strongly recommend that you purchase this particular book in the paperback version. It really gets you to take the time to reflect on the author's questions at the end of the chapter.

Some good insights

Some good insights and tips on starting over. Laid out in a clear step by step format. It uses stories from the Bible to illustrate several of the points and the author relies on her faith to find her way. This is great but it may not appeal to people who are expecting stories from a non religious source.

I particularly love the easy flow through out the book

This is an absolute must have for everyone. We all need a fresh start at one point or another in life and this book really does walk you through a step by step process of doing just that. I particularly love the easy flow through out the book. It makes it easy for even children to grasp these concepts.
