The Trump administration is rolling back many environmental regulations, including those that protect American waterways.  This spring, the President signed an executive order designed to undo the Clean Water Act.  We’ve asked SANDRA POSTEL, director of the Global Water Policy Project and Freshwater Fellow of the National Geographic Society, to come in to discuss threats to fresh water resources in the United States and around the globe, as well as the effect climate change is having on our water supply.  We’ll also talk with veterinarian and naturalist ABBIE GASCHO LANDIS about the important role freshwater mussels play in the ecosystem and why so many of them are endangered.  She’s the author of, Immersion: The Science and Mystery of Freshwater Mussels.
