Hey weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, and boy do I have a forecast that's gonna knock your socks off! We're looking at a week in Fresno, California that's more predictable than my old football playbook, but just as exciting.
Let's kick things off with our current conditions. We've got clear skies overnight with temperatures dropping to a crisp 52 degrees. Northwest winds are gonna be playing defense at around 5 miles per hour - light and easy.
Wednesday's gonna be a touchdown of a day! Sunny with a high near 80 degrees. West northwest winds are gonna do a little dance, becoming northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. Might even see some wind gusts up to 15 miles per hour - just to keep things interesting!
Weather Playbook time! Today I'm gonna break down something called "wind shear" - think of it like defensive lines in football. Wind shear is when wind speed or direction changes dramatically with height. It's basically the meteorological equivalent of a surprise blitz!
Our three-day forecast is looking like a perfect game plan:
Wednesday: Sunny, 80 degrees
Thursday: Sunny, climbing to 86 degrees
Friday: Partly sunny, hitting 87 degrees
No major unusual weather phenomena to report - just classic Fresno sunshine doing its thing!
I'm gonna wrap this up with my favorite line: It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!
