Good morning, Fresno! Let's dive into our weather forecast that's got more twists and turns than a California backroad.

Overnight, we're looking at a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 38 degrees. The wind? Practically taking a nap - completely calm.

Friday brings a frosty start with patchy frost before 7 in the morning. As the day rolls on, expect increasing clouds and a high near 60 degrees. The wind will be playing it cool, starting calm and then shifting to a gentle southeast breeze around 5 miles per hour.

Friday night gets interesting with a 40 percent chance of rain. Clouds will be hanging out, and temperatures will hover around 50 degrees.

Saturday continues our wet adventure with a 50 percent chance of rain. Temperatures climb to about 61 degrees with a light east-southeast wind. We might see just a tiny bit of precipitation - less than a tenth of an inch.

The weekend progression looks like this: Saturday night brings more rain chances, Sunday starts partly sunny and warming up to 71 degrees, and by Monday afternoon, we've got another 30 percent chance of rainfall.

Tuesday is when things get serious - we're talking about a 90 percent chance of rain, with precipitation amounts between a quarter and half an inch. Winds will be picking up to about 10 miles per hour with gusts up to 15 miles per hour.

The middle of next week keeps things interesting with continued rain chances and temperatures bouncing between the mid-50s and low 60s.
