Good morning, Fresno! This is your weather forecast for a week that's about to get a bit wet and wild.
Tonight, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping down to a cool 47 degrees. Winds? Practically taking a nap.
Monday brings us more clouds, but with a pleasant high near 67 degrees. That gentle south wind will lazily drift in during the afternoon, barely stirring a leaf.
But hold onto your umbrellas, because Monday night is when things get interesting! After 4 in the morning, rain is likely to make a dramatic entrance. Temperatures will hover around 50 degrees with a southeast wind whispering at about 5 miles per hour.
Tuesday is our wet and wild day. Expect rain with a high of 60 degrees. Those east southeast winds will kick up to 10 miles per hour with gusts reaching 20 miles per hour. We're talking serious precipitation potential here - between a quarter and half an inch of rain!
Wednesday starts with rain, then transitions to partly sunny skies with a high near 59 degrees. Thursday continues our wet theme with potential thunderstorms and rainfall.
By Friday, we'll start drying out, and Saturday and Sunday look absolutely gorgeous with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s.
Pro tip: Keep those rain jackets and umbrellas handy this week, Fresno!
