In today’s culture, we can give oaths flippantly. Today, Pastor Marc says that we must be people of our word. When we open our mouths and say an oath, if we don’t follow through with it we’re hypocrites. Scripture says to let your “yes be yes and your no be no”. Next time you promise something, do it. It’s not only scriptural, but it’s the right thing to do. When you don’t follow through with your word you hurt those around you and lose trust. Today, let your yes’ be yes’ and your no’s be no’s.
