The Alaska House passed a wide-ranging, bi-partisan education bill late yesterday; sport fishermen won't be able to fish for king salmon at Petersburg's Blind River Rapids this summer because of low projected returns; the Juneau Assembly unanimously approved more than $3 million dollars in loans toward two housing projects earlier this month.
