Strength is the ability to generate force
Conditioning is the ability to use that force efficeintly, so that you can sustain it for longer periods of time with less fatigue.
If you want to be able to use your strength for more than just lifting weights, you need conditioning.
Scaling should be used to improve conditioning by allowing for less rest and more work in a shorter time. Scaling is not just used for the less strong individual. Original Post from Joel Jameison.
