Pastor Ed teaches us today through Psalm 23 that Jesus leads us into paths of righteousness for the sake of His Name. In other words, we do not deserve the redemption offered through the Jesus’s sacrifice at the cross. We cannot earn Christ’s grace or mercy. However, God chose to save us, justify us, and make us righteous so that He would receive honor. This means that the life of a Christian is not and can never be about the self. All of what we do is for God’s Name and for His glory.
