When you’re dealing with a lot in everyday life, it’s nice to treat yourself because you think you’ve earned it. Today though, Pastor Cody reminds us that, when we turn to sin, that’s not a treat. Sin will only make everything worse. Maybe not immediately, but the long-term consequences are never worth it. Sin may give you fleeting joy, but it never lasts and when it’s over, you’re still dealing with everything that got you there in the first place. Instead, look to Christ who offers incomprehensible peace.
