Whether you’re the king of a nation or just over your own small personal domain, giving up that power is hard. It only gets more challenging the more power that you have. As Pastor Marc continues our study of the book of Matthew in today’s message, we’ll see the hold that power had on King Herod. It led him to murder and imprison his peers, and even to the genocide of thousands of innocent children for fear that one of them was the born King of the Jews that the wise men told him about.
