While Pastor Ed comes to the end of his teachings on the Beatitudes today, we discover that these beatitudes reflect the only perfect life that ever came to earth: the Son of God. Jesus was the only true portrayer of every beatitude, especially the final one – being persecuted. When we live the life He portrayed, we too will find ourselves at odds with the world, and are guaranteed to face difficulty. However, we will also always have the greatest reward waiting for us as we endure this persecution!
