Feet in the tradition and head in the future, our next guest is the new indie voice of Soweto. With their first EP (UBaba), the four musicians get their inspiration from the rich musical heritage of South African soil. The band consists of four musicians who hail from Soweto: Singer/Flautist - Tubatsi Mpho Moloi, Guitarist - Lerato Lichaba, Drummer - Xolani Mtshali, and Bassist - Simangaliso Dlamini.

The band have been described as an original synthesis of Zulu guitars, indie-folk, maskandi and jazz, all carried along by an undoubtable energy and charisma. The band is inspired by greats like Ladysmith Black Mamabazo, Dorothy Masuku and Strike Vilakazi. The band has recently released their debut album: Udondolo, a new documentary and toured France.
