The Seniors Services Society in partnership with the  City of New Westminster Fire and Rescue Services advocates for emergency preparedness for seniors.  Canada Wide Media Chairman and CEO hosts  a series of interviews called Fridays with Seniors.  In this episode,  he interviews Anur Mehdic,  Housing and Child Care Planning Analyst,  Jennifer Gjaltema,  Assistant Deputy Fire Chief,  Cory Hansen,  Emergency Planning Assistant and Christie Bruce,  Fire Inspector/Public Educator.   Mehdic along with others shares that they work in a way that is supportive,  inquiring and carefully analytical, in order to help build education and capacity.   An example of such work is related to emergency preparedness with seniors in the community.
