If we think we deserve more than we have, we will be constantly frustrated, angry and discontent. But if we realize that anything good that we’ve been given is an undeserved gift from God, we will be grateful. Jesus is the friend of sinners who draws near, not to those who think they deserve it, but to those who know they don’t.
