Friendships in our early 20s feel effortless - same schedules, same interests, similar phases of life. But as we move through our mid-20s and into new seasons, those dynamics start to shift. Careers, relationships, moves, priorities, healing, and growth all play a part... and sometimes, friendships fade without a fight.
In this episode, I'm reflecting on how my friendships have evolved over the years, including the growing pains and the beauty of finding people who fit who I'm becoming. I also want to highlight Mel Robbins and her perspective pf the 3 necessary pillars of a friendship: proximity, timing, and energy. I agree that these all play a role in friendship dynamics and the ever-changing tide that comes with adulthood. If you've ever struggled with drifting apart, redefining your circle, or grieving friendships you thought would last forever, you're not alone.
