This is such an inspiring episode which finds me chatting to the wonderful Jody Goldsworthy who has a powerful powerful story of being rescued from decades of abuse and being brought into the Father’s embrace. And it’s this incredible testimony of God’s goodness and restoration that then led Jody to establish Jonathan’s House Ministries in 2023!  

In this episode he shares his immensely painful and debilitated journey of being a victim of severe abuse at the hands of those closest to him. Yet because of God’s great love and mercy, he is radically rescued and restored! He knows firsthand that men who have suffered abuse (which is actually far more common than we imagine) need a place where they can go and receive support to get past the trauma and other side effects of abuse. 

He not only shares his story not also his insight and experiences of supporting men experiencing abuse both in the world and in the Church. Jonathan’s House Ministries firmly believes in all men, and that all men deserve to be healed, restored and eventually fulfilled. Through building safe spaces and educating people on the effects of abuse, they believe they can change things for male victims of abuse across the UK. And this is precisely what they are doing! This is such a powerful episode and I pray that you are not only inspired and encouraged but that you are also spurred into action!
