Jos Willard is a coach and consultant for coaches and the host of the Profit for Coaches podcast, a show specifically for coaches (and coaches-to-be) wanting to create a positive impact on the world around them while building a profitable and thriving coaching business. A graduate of the Robbins-Madanes Training Centre, the Relationship Coaching Academy, and the Rapid Coaching Academy, as well as a Book Yourself Solid® Licensed Professional, Jos has over 20 years of international experience as a coach, trainer, and mentor for entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and military operators as well as CEOs of multi-location clinics and international organizations.
Jos joins me today to discuss how he discovered the power of listening – even when he didn’t have all of the answers. He shares his experience while serving in the U.S. Army and how these experiences shaped who he is today. We discuss how Jos became comfortable with not knowing all of the answers to everyone’s questions or problems, why he decided to leave the Army, and what inspired him to become an entrepreneur. We discuss how he currently helps his clients break through the barriers that are standing in the way of their success. We also discuss his ‘Stop the Wheel’ project and how he helps entrepreneurs overcome ‘shiny object syndrome’ to focus on the things that will successfully help them move forward in life and business.
“I learned very quickly that the best thing I could do was to ask questions.” - Jos Willard
