Dr. Tavara Johnson interviews Dr. Tamika Brown. Dr. Tami’s lifelong passion for helping those around her was the stepping stone that led her to become the founder of Brown Outreach Inc, an Integrated Auxillary of Dr. Tamika Brown Ministries, Inc. The purpose of this nonprofit and its ambitious outreach is to give back to the community and to include veterans providing Educational Enrichment Programs, Wellness Seminars, Job Training, Job Placement, and beyond. She is an enthusiastic professional dedicated to empowering women with the tools they need to reinvent their lives like never before and find their purpose, even in the face of life’s adversities, which she has endured and experienced first-hand. Her experiences both as a veteran and as a military spouse, married for 27 years to a US Army veteran who retired after 20+ years of service, have proven to be life-changing experiences that taught her a great deal about resilience, fortitude, and finding her true self, especially after being a mother of three children.This dedication to her life’s professional vision also led her to start Secured Solutions LLC. This female coaching firm will provide one-on-one coaching services to help spouses of veterans and women from all walks of life discover who they truly are outside of being a wife and a mother, so they can find themselves and become whom they are meant to be personally and professionally.Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pierce College in 2006, followed by a Master of Business Administration with a dual concentration in Human Resources and Marketing at Bellevue University. Later on, she would continue her studies to earn a Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources from Capella University in 2021.Dr. Brown is also an author. She has two upcoming books, a 15-day devotional called ‘Coffee with Christ,’ and a book called “Gracefully Broken, Rebuilding with Purpose,” which entails her life and how she has been able to rebuild with purpose and she has also published a workbook version that is published on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and LULU.
