I believe the world is changing. And the world I grew up in from the 1980’s isn’t going to be the world I die in.
The global “world order” is being shaken. Populist and authoritarian political movements are shaping the political landscape. People are becoming more divided. There’s a disdain for capitalism and free trade. And as nations become increasingly nationalistic, they are becoming strongly anti-immigrant.
So, how are we to navigate all these changes? I believe the key to living through these anxious times is found in the apocalyptic literature of the Scriptures.
In this podcast, I look at “the beasts” that dominated the visions of the books of Daniel and Revelation, and examine how their prophetic visions of the future can inform us today. And ultimately, how the kingdom of God, which is represented by a Lamb, stands in stark contrast to the beasts the dominate the world.
