Hey Y'all!
Our first guest for season 3 is my good friend Patrice Burton!
Patrice is an actress, and filmmaker living in Los Angeles who aims to move the needle forward of inclusion and compassion through her work. She’s worked with the likes of Apple, Facebook, & Grownish, to name a few., and is currently diving head first into producing indie films and series such as “For Always” and “The Stallions”.
Moving from a small religious town, (Tucson,AZ) into a big diverse city showed Patrice that no matter how different people are in their beliefs.. most people want the same things.
Her passion is to bridge the gap between cultures, and share stories that show us the humanity in others. The only thing she is extreme in, is her love.
Tap in as we have a conversation about her journey from sleeping in roach infected apartments, cleaning toilets to getting to work with Grownish ,Always #Like A Girl Campaign which aired as one of the 2014 Super Bowl commericials to Apple and Facebook.
