While in college, Gary went from being a top-level gymnast to breaking his neck and lying in a hospital bed paralyzed. He went on to achieve a complete recovery within 3 years of his accident by breaking through barriers, removing limiting beliefs, and persevering.

After his recovery, Gary was asked to be on the National USA coaching staff for women's gymnastics and took the young women all over the world to achieve gold medal success. Gary has been speaking and entertaining the gymnastics world nationally and internationally for over 30 years..
