This week I talked with George Markakis. George was Schooled in Economics and worked at the top levels of a multinational corporation.

Several miraculous instances in his life led George to believe that someone was behind him and before him. Though George was raised in the Greek Orthodox church, George was a nominal Christian. George states that he knew of God, but had no experience or relationship with God. These encounters culminated on an event that left George in a place of complete surrender.

Years later George felt led to leave the success and comfort of his corporate job and go into ministry fulltime. In a country and culture where pastors are not financially supported by congregations, this was a big step.
