Mitch Jackson is a member of the Canadian folk group, School House, a band formed when he moved into a century-old schoolhouse with his two best friends. From writing songs together around a campfire to opening for Alan Doyle, and winning Group of the Year at the 2024 Ottawa Music Awards, School House has quickly risen through the Canadian music scene. Their newest single, Live While I’m Alive, releases on January 16, ahead of their sophomore album, Homeland, which comes out February 27. Mitch joins the podcast today to discuss the band’s upcoming tour, working as a team, self care, and more.
