We all have dreams as a child but not all of us end up achieving those dreams. That is what Shirley Lipner shared today. Like how she was destined to be in her current career after so many phases of her life.
Having a holocaust survivor parents and two older brothers made her believe that she had to keep her family together and fulfill her job as a responsible daughter. This doesn’t stop Shirley to fall in love with interacting with others. Instead, she used this to be where she is right now.
In this episode, Shirley Lipner discusses her ideal vocations, such as owning a beauty salon and working as a psychiatrist, as well as her journey from grocery store cashier to publicity to clarity coach AKA psychic medium. [05:55] I had problems with her growing up, but I knew that she loved me. And I but she was troubled. But that was all part of me wanting to be this therapist, like trying to understand who are these people?
[12:10] I said, I should just drive off the road. And then I heard a voice and the voice said, No. And I listened to it. Just like go home and check the mail. And there was a letter from him in the mail and I thought, oh, everything's going to be okay.
[13:46] So that's kind of a theory that I follow in my life in terms of a pivot is that when you're at the end of your rope, just listen, just ask and listen. And the universe will present you with something.
[19:19] Now I went to psychics myself for four years, I love psychics. But I never thought I would do it. And then I'm doing this show and I just went let me book an hour and I would put on a robe I had this silk robe that I would wear and I went on and instead of bringing cards because I didn't know much about tarot cards.
[27:19] And then something clicked in me and I went, “Oh, I'm ready now”. It was just like, “I'm ready. I'm going to take over you retired, don't worry about it. And I'm going to support us now”. That was it.
