This episode of the Salty Hunter Podcast we have my good friend Jeremy. Jeremy is transplant from the lower 48 coming from the mean streets of Chicago. Jeremy moved up here following a job, chasing a dream, following the pull to leave a concrete jungle and explore the wilderness. He moved up here with no real plan, and much like myself fell in love with everything Alaska has to offer.
Jeremy has since become a self-sufficient hunter and fisherman. In his short time here, he has quite the resume built up. I’m sure he will be adding to that resume this fall.
This episode is not just about a guy that moved here form the lower 48. Its about a guy that took a chance and is making things happen. Living the dream he set out to find. Taking a chance. And acting on instinct. I respect the hell out of his drive. Its easy for people to say, “must be nice”. “Must be nice to live in a state where you can hunt and fish all the time.” “Must be nice to be able to get out of town every weekend.” “Must be nice to be able to just up and move everything.”
I’m here to tell you that it is nice. And it takes a lot of fucking work to get it done.
Thank you all for listening. I love every damn one of you.
